Diane Marsh lives in Roswell, New Mexico. She earned her Master of Fine Arts from the State University of New York in Buffalo. She is the recipient of numerous awards and residencies, including an NEA grant for painting and a residency at Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program. She is included in numerous public collections, including the Albuquerque Museum, the Roswell Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts (Santa Fe), the Capitol Art Collection, and the Sheldon Museum of Art (Lincoln, NE).

Marsh’s painstaking attention to the details of the human figure and psyche results in images that are at once individual and universal. Because of the humanism expressed in the work, her paintings take on a more universal, almost epic, message about compassion, suffering, joy, hope, renewal, and the world around us.
