Siddiq Khan was born in Guyana and raised in Canada and London. He received a Diploma of Fine Art at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London and has continued studying at the Pratt Institute of Art and Design, Brooklyn, NY, and College of Santa Fe, NM. He currently lives and works in Santa Fe.

Of his latest series of work he describes them as “a visual walkabout, a circular journey, seeking a sense of completeness. The words in paintings are taken from my writings over a period of time as well as from recently written poems. The ceramic sculptures are based on abstracted letters of alphabets.”
